If the winner city for the 2016 Olympic games were chosen in terms of their logo Madrid will be the winner with Tokyo just behind it. Madrid's hand is very strong and easy to recognize image. Madrid and Tokyo both show the temperament of their countries. Rio has basically a nice logo but the previous two are just better. Chicago's logo is really a very bad logo, unattractive, weak and boring. If they are going to keep this logo I prefer they not to win.

The author of the famous photo of "El Che Guevara", Alberto Korda never saw any money from it (or little). The world owns the image now, it is as iconic as the face of a Buda. The powerful poster created for the Obama campaign by Shepard Fairy had been copied and reinterpreted. What does the author or the Obama team thinks of it? Will they sue those copying? I found this collection of some reinterpretations in the Volkskrant this morning. Other Polink posts.
