Ever, ever?

The opening at ArtCube of 'Ever renovating city' was cozy and friendly even though I always get nervous. I suppose not many people see it, but I was nervous.
The works of Willem van der Hofstede shined on the sunny Saturday afternoon.

Today I saw Emilio Gonzalez, again after one year and a half, and at this age it means a lot of changes. It took me some time to get used to his new looks.

This is also an older apartment building from the times when budget and believes were different. Today was indeed a gray day but still....

This last one is a work by the Mexican Damien Ortega. I don't know what is the relation of the (sport) like lines in the performance but it reminds me of the other works.

The theme of the paintings is the city and specially the renovating city. For years Van der Hofstede has been painting and taking photographs of the skyline of The Hague and the buildings that are being destroyed.
