Pink afternoon

The last weeks I had been finding out that October is furniture month, glasses month, knowledge month, Virgin Mary month, adolescents month and about anything when I thought it was Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The American Women Club in The Hague organized their down sized Pink afternoon instead of their previous Pink Gala with an art exhibition of works made by cancer patients at the Old Church of The Hague. Kanker in Beeld encourage people to express visually their feelings.
These works caught my attention:

Petra Banning Lang zal ik leven (I will live long time), ceramic
A transformed line from the Dutch Happy Birthday song.

Lyda Rump, Urns, wool
