Children on a summer afternoon

More than the huge photographs of Evan Snoijink of children with Down syndrome, my attention was caught by the children enjoying the fountain in between the photographs in the center of The Hague. Later at the channels that surround the animals in Malieveld (just in front of the train station) I saw more children enjoying a very warm day in the ditch. In all the years I had been in The Hague I never saw this before. I had ambiguous feelings as it was very disappointing the aggression of the children as I took, from far away, the photographs.
