That an artist copies another happens but that a jury gives a prize to the imitator...?
The jury of the Thieme Award knowing the work of Tjebbe Beekman gave the prize to Gijs van Lith at Art Amsterdam.
Not only theme, composition and colors look alike even the paint strokes are very similar.
