Charles Avery (Scotland 1973) has been working on 'The Islanders' an epic project about a fictional archipelago since 2004. In the guise of a pioneer Avery reports on the world he discovers and at the same time he creates.
A very inspiring introduction of 'The Islanders' to see starting Saturday at the Boymans Museum in Rotterdam.
