Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC), Mexico City.

Gabriel Orozco. One of the best works of the whole museum.

Kiyoto Ota, it has been about 25 years from the last time I saw an art work of his. Pleasant surprise.

A potpourri of photo details from the shocking exhibition Asedio.

'La linea de la mano"

Diego Perez

Santiago Sierra, a much talked about piece.

Jorge Miacchi

Ricardo Regazzoni

Miguel Ventura and his controversial work. Luckily I was not aware of the discussion about this work before I went in. The huge structure from outside is beautiful. The chaos inside is overwhelming and unclear of the goal of using swastikas and Hitler memorabilia. The accompanying text was not of much help either.
"Mucha talacha" (lots of hard working) that left me untouched.
My mother, on the other hand, saw it very differently and felt annoyed by the work and specifically by the music. A good sign.
