Jozef Israels vs Isaac Israels
The Hague painters father and son Jozef (1824-1911) and Isaac (1865-1934) Israels have an special exhibition at the Gemeente Museum. Open until 8 February 2009.
They show a clear link between the early and dark 19th century painting into the lighter early 20th century.
I live on the Jozef Israels Lane so I watched this exhibition with extra attention.
