As I walked to the view point in Koh Phi Phi one week ago I noticed how the older earth paths had been changed into cement paths since we were last here in 2004 and creating all over again new earth paths that next time I come here may become into new cement paths.
The last photo shows a photo of the devastation after the Tsunami placed on a tree and underneath a menu of the available drinks at the highest view point. We had been six months before the Tsunami in this place, and know it nearly seemed it never happened, until we heard an American survivor explaining to his mother pointing at this picture, telling how and where everything happened. Many things he still don't know. As we asked him how long it lasted that the water was inland he said: ever.
