Why does any one make a parody of sometimes a very spontaneous, a very methodically made or a relatively well rehearsed video. In any case they are very good and so far I have not seen a parody or a remake that is superior to the original.
But in any case they are absolute rages on you tube, where some videos had been seen up to 20000000 times!
It may be appreciation and admiration for the original maker, it make be the unstoppable energy to laugh of someones' film. Another reason is probably "wanting to belong in the community". Being bored maybe? Wrongly directed energy? Lack of creativity or too much creativity. Envy?
At the end I think they just want to be seen as many times as the originals had been seen. And people feel capable of imitating everything, just as they say about an abstract painting: "my four year child could have done it better". Simple, uncomplicated, is not synonymous with easy but more with masterly. In a way may be we are meant to follow, to repeat and copy and only few will be the leaders, just as in the other world called "life" and not the "you tube" world, which is a reflexion of life.
